Joel & Aleesha's Wedding
Additional Info
Arrival
Please arrive from 3:30 PM so everyone has time to settle before the ceremony at 4:00 PM.
Location
Colinton Country Farm. 754 Grieves Rd, Colinton, QLD, 4314. Please allow extra time for country roads and parking.
Parking
Please drive to the end of the driveway and park as directed on arrival. To make the best use of the space, we ask that guests park side by side where possible. While there is a large parking area available, we are expecting a high number of guests, so please keep the center of the driveway clear to allow vehicles to move in and out easily.
Long Weekend
01.05.2027 Please note that our wedding is being held over the Labour Day long weekend, with Monday 3rd of May 2027 being a public holiday.
BYO
As many of you know, we are both non-drinkers, as such this will be a BYO event. In place of gifts we are that if you would like to drink, you bring your own alcohol for the evening - that is more than enough for us. We recommend bringing an esky if you plan to bring your own drinks, there will be fridges and ice available, however as this is a larger event, keeping your drinks in your own esky will help avoid any mix-ups. Soft drinks will be provided.
Drama Free Event
We want to make everyone aware that this will be a large celebration, and because we have chosen to include all the people we love, there may be guests attending who some people do not particularly like or get along with. With that in mind, we are asking everyone to please leave any issues at the door and help us keep the day completely drama free. If you do not feel comfortable doing that, we kindly ask that you RSVP accordingly.
Adults Night Out
We have chosen for our wedding day to be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of a select few children who are part of our immediate family and everyday lives. We hope this allows everyone the chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us.
Smoking
If you are smoking, please be respectful of the property and do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. Ashtrays will be provided around the venue for your use. As this is a family-owned farm surrounded by bushland, keeping the grounds clean is important not only out of respect, but also to prevent fires.
Outfit Change
Bring a jacket or even a comfy change of clothes for the later festivities.
Comfort
There will be enough chairs on site for everyone. If you’d like the extra comfort of a camp chair for later in the evening, feel free to leave one in your car and grab it as the night goes on. There’s no need to bring it out when you first arrive please — This is completely optional, and just there for anyone who feels they’d like a comfier seat for later on.
Point of Contact
If you need to ask any additional questions please don't hesitate to reach out to Aleesha on 0424 732 593.
